QI GONG CLASS EVERY THURSDAY, 1pm-2pm or ONLINE EVERY TUESDAY 10am-11am
Please email Jim Ward now or call if you would like to join either of these classes.
Jim says: "The exercises we will do are easy to learn and will also bring many benefits to the mind and body. They are different to those I teach in my regular Tai Ji Quan classes."
Venue: Oakham/Langham Village Hall, Church Street, Langham, Rutland LE15 7JE
Day & time: every Thursday from 1pm to 2pm
Cost: £36 per 6 week term - equivalent to £6 per class - or £8 per class, payable on the door. Concessionary rates are available.
All welcome: Classes are all mixed ability and traditional Qi Gong is practised in a slow, relaxed manner. Getting a sense of what Qi Gong is about takes time and regular practise and so I always ask new students to enrol for a minimum of one month.
Through the regular practice of Qi Gong you can develop your strength, health and energy. Classes consist of warm ups and stretching to release energy blockages, in conjunction with ancient Chinese exercises, and a variety of Qi Gong sets. With time, students can progress and deepen their understanding of Qi Gong.
What to wear: Clothes that you feel comfortable in and which allow free movement are best. Flat trainers, or similar, are the most suitable shoes – other than that you don’t need a mat or any other equipment.
