All welcome: Traditional Qi Gong is practised in a slow, relaxed manner.
Through the regular practice of Qi Gong you can develop your strength, health and energy. Classes consist of warm ups and stretching to release energy blockages, in conjunction with ancient Chinese exercises, coiling movements and a variety of Qi Gong sets. With time, you can progress and deepen your understanding of Qi Gong.
The Qi Gong exercises you will be learning have been used for thousands of years to increase health, well-being and generally raise our spirits - and most importantly to relax in a stress-free environment.
Material includes:
- Baduanjin (8 Pieces of Silk Brocade): Performed to invigorate and strengthen the whole body
- Shibashi (18 Qi Gong exercises): Soft and flowing movements based on Tai Chi
- Zhan Zhuang (Standing Post) – standing meditation to cultivate internal energy
- Simple movements to help develop the feeling of Qi
