Join us for a relaxing half-day tai chi workshop on Saturday 8 June from 9.30am-1pm.
The theme this year is the Three External Harmonies - why not look it up? Or even better come along to experience exactly what these can do to enhance your tai ji journey. Have attached a PDF with all details but please let me and/or your teacher know by May 17 at the latest if you want to attend as we need to organise groups etc for the day.
Personally I found the Harmonies added a huge amount to my own Tai Ji Quan - it enhanced my awareness of my own body mechanics, and helped me to recognise and understand when something didn't feel right in my Form, Preps - in fact all the exercises. It also gives you a real understanding about how to improve yourself and your Tai Ji Quan. Next to the Yang Family Principles, I would say that understanding the Harmonies are one of the most powerful tools for improving your practice.
The workshops are especially for joint classes in the Tai Ji Quan Dao group - so you can meet and play with like-minded people from all our other classes from Stamford, Nottinghamshire and Oakham.
All workshops are a great learning experience appropriate for any level of tai chi player - whether you have just started or have been attending a while, there really is something for everyone to work on. The venue is wonderful too - a countryside haven, with safe parking and plenty of outside space to enjoy ourselves outdoors if the weather is good.
Look forward to seeing you there and if there’s anything you want to ask then simply email or talk to me at one of our classes.
